Wait — what?
While the Rockies have long been an iconic tourist attraction (we’re told the mountains even pre-date Travel Alberta brochures), the latter endeavour has only just made its debut on the world stage. This summer, Heritage Park’s Famous 5 Centre of Canadian Women joins two new Rocky Mountain attractions — all rolled out in part by University of Calgary alumni — that, together, make Alberta’s profile as a bucket-list destination even richer and more diverse than ever.
